Service Description: A collection of layers beneficial to Public Safety and emergency evacuations. Evacuation and Surge zones are based on the Florida Division of Emergency Management LiDAR study and by running the HVX data (Hurrivac Modeling). The evacuation zones are determined by analyzing the storm surge data in relation to parcel and road data. There are areas that are not in the respective storm surge zone but are in an evacuation zone. This is because some of the areas, while not in a surge area, have access roads which are impacted by the storm surge. These access roads into those areas becomes impassible due to the storm surge and thus access to those areas becomes impossible.
